Champions Trophy 2025: Lahore Set to Host All India Matches 1280 853 D. I. Khan New City

Following a heart-wrenching loss to India in the 2024 T20 World Cup, Pakistan may soon have a chance for redemption. Reports suggest that the highly anticipated India-Pakistan clash in Lahore is nearly confirmed for the Champions Trophy 2025.

According to draft schedules submitted to the International Cricket Council (ICC), the India-Pakistan match will likely be the final league game of the Champions Trophy 2025. The tournament is set to take place in Pakistan from February 19 to March 9, 2025.

However, the eagerly awaited match in Lahore depends on the approval of the Indian government. If the government denies approval, the tournament might adopt a hybrid model, similar to the previous Asia Cup, with the UAE potentially hosting India’s matches. Despite these uncertainties, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has received advice to proceed with the necessary preparations.

The PCB has selected Lahore, Karachi, and Rawalpindi as venues for the 20-day tournament. Lahore is expected to host seven matches, including all of India’s games, while Rawalpindi will host five matches and Karachi three. The tournament will kick off with the opening match in Karachi on Wednesday, February 19. Karachi will host one semifinal, while Rawalpindi will host the other. The final is scheduled for Sunday, March 9, in Lahore.

Currently, the ICC is reviewing these scheduling and venue proposals, and they await final approval. The PCB is moving forward with its plans while waiting for the final decision from the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) and the Government of India.

With cities and buildings accounting for 65 percent of worldwide energy use, the development of smart cities is viewed as a crucial approach to addressing the climate crisis. A modern city requires sophisticated data, technology, and people to create inclusive and sustainable solutions.

The Role of Smart Buildings in Smart Cities

Smart buildings are increasingly playing a pivotal role in the development of smart cities. They are essential tools for tackling contemporary challenges such as achieving net-zero emissions, ensuring security, and meeting the demand for greater interoperability. With the rise of advanced technology, smart buildings leverage the Internet of Things (IoT) to share data, control processes, and enhance human interactions, promising a future of long-term sustainability.
Today’s smart buildings are fundamental to the evolution of sustainable cities. They contribute to cleaner transportation, optimized resource use such as water and energy, and more intelligent infrastructure that meets essential human needs like security, comfort, and connectivity. By constructing smart buildings, we enhance the livability, workability, and sustainability of our cities.

Energy Consumption Efficiency

Smart buildings are crucial for a future where cities are secure, smart, and sustainable. Building owners can monitor and control their energy consumption, significantly reducing waste. Traditional buildings often use more energy than necessary, leading to inefficiency and environmental harm. Smart buildings, equipped with cutting-edge technology, allow for precise energy tracking and management, minimizing human error and conserving resources.

Immediate Malfunction Detection

One of the key advantages of smart buildings is the immediate detection of malfunctions. Advanced battery management systems and other smart technologies can identify and address issues with minimal human intervention. This rapid response ensures that problems are quickly resolved, maintaining business continuity and reducing downtime.

Data Collection and Analysis

IoT devices in smart buildings make it easy to gather data on various products and services. Sensors can be installed in heating systems, ventilation equipment, and other machinery, providing valuable insights into their usage. This data helps optimize processes, ensuring that resources are used efficiently and effectively. The era of inadequate systems and poor solutions is over, thanks to these innovative technologies.

Promoting Sustainability

Smart buildings contribute significantly to sustainability by focusing on IoT power usage. They help identify and address ongoing issues, reducing the carbon footprint and promoting eco-friendly alternatives. The Complete Guide to Qurbani Duas

The Complete Guide to Qurbani Duas

The Complete Guide to Qurbani Duas 780 520 D. I. Khan New City

Eid al-Adha, also known as the “Feast of Sacrifice,” commemorates Prophet Ibrahim’s (AS) ultimate act of faith when he prepared to sacrifice his son, Ishmael (AS), in obedience to Allah (SWT). This sacred occasion is a time for reflection, gratitude, and sharing blessings. Reciting Qurbani Duas (supplications) is an essential part of this practice, allowing us to connect directly with Allah (SWT), expressing our intentions, and seeking His blessings during the sacrifice.

The Power of Duas and Takbeer in Qurbani

The recitation of Qurbani Duas and Takbeers (expressions of God’s greatness) holds immense significance during the Eid al-Adha celebrations. These acts not only accompany the sacrifice but also mark the spiritual importance of the entire four-day period, from the 9th to the 13th of Dhul-Hijjah.

Qurbani Dua Before and After Eid Prayers

Eid gatherings symbolize unity and community strength. Traditionally, Muslims take different routes to and from the prayer ground, symbolizing a departure from routine and a renewed spiritual commitment. Throughout this journey, the Takbeer is recited:

“الله أكبر، الله أكبر، لا إله إلا الله، الله أكبر، الله أكبر، ولله الحمد.”

Allahu akbar, Allahu akbar, La ilaha illallah, Wallahu akbar, Allahu akbar wa lillahil hamd

This joyful chant, meaning “Allah is the Greatest. Allah is the Greatest. There is no deity worthy of worship but Him. Allah is the Greatest. Allah is the Greatest. And to Allah belongs all praise,” is recited throughout Eid al-Adha to show our appreciation for Allah.

Intention of Sacrifice for Allah (SWT)

The intention behind the sacrifice is crucial. Before slaughtering an animal, Muslims reaffirm their dedication to Allah alone with the intention:

The intention, “نويت أن أاضحي للهِ تَعَالى” (Nawaitu An Udhahhi Lillaahi Ta’ala) emphasizes the sacrifice’s sole purpose for the pleasure of Allah.

Dua for Qurbani Before Slaughtering the Animal

When performing the sacrifice, specific Duas are recommended. Begin with:

“Iní wa jjahhtu wajhiya lil-ladhī fatara as-samawati wal-arda hanifan wa maa ana mina al-mushrikeen. Inna salaati wa nusuki wa mahyaaya wa mamaati lillahi rabbil-‘alameen, laa sharika lahu wa bidhalika umirtu wa ana awwalu al-muslimeen.” سورة الانعام

Then say, اللهُم تَقَبَّلُ ((Allahuma Taqabbal) )if sacrificing for yourself, instead of مِنَ (mina) you can say مِنِّىْ, (minni) otherwise after the مِنَ (mina) you can mention the name of the one for whom the sacrifice is being performed.

Then continue by saying,

Qurbani Takbeer During Sacrificing the Animal

Saying ” بسم اللہ أللہ أکبر “ “Bismillah Allahu Akbar” (In the name of Allah, Allah is the Greatest) is essential during sacrifice. It honors Allah and clarifies the reason for the sacrifice. The animal should face the Qiblah (direction of the Kaaba) before a quick and merciful slaughter, following Islamic guidelines.

Qurbani Dua After Sacrificing the Animal

After completing the sacrifice, express gratitude to Allah and make supplications. You may say ” ٱلْحَمْدُ لِلَّٰهِ “  (All praise is due to Allah) or any dua expressing appreciation for performing Qurbani.

Example dua:

اللهم تقبل مني واجعل هذا عني وعن ذريتي وعن جميع المسلمين

“Al-lahuma taqabbal minni wa-j’al haadha ‘anni wa-‘an dharriyati wa-‘an jami’il-muslimeen”

(O Allah, accept this sacrifice from me and make it (reward) from me, from my offspring, and from all the Muslims)

Conclusion

Qurbani is a profound act of worship and devotion, filled with spiritual significance. Reciting these Duas with sincerity and devotion enhances the spiritual experience of Eid al-Adha. Additionally, consider donating Qurbani to those less fortunate on behalf of your loved ones to spread the blessings.
